Bayside New Residential Zones Rejected

Posted by | Bayside Reformed Zones, New Planning Zones for Victoria, Planning News | 0 |

Bayside City Council has been rejected in their bid to have the new residential zones introduction fast-tracked. The Minister for Planning has stated that Bayside must undertake public consultation and assessment of their proposed zone schedules at the Standing Advisory Committee and not be introduced along with the zones as a Ministerial planning scheme amendment.

Bayside had proposed strict minimum lot sizes and stringent design standards for new residential developments.
