Over the past decade F R Perry & Associates has achieved broad market exposure and extensive commercial and retail experience through our completed work.

Frank Perry is the founder and Managing Director of F R Perry & Associates. With over 25 years planning experience, Frank is an expert in all aspects of planning; legislative, statutory, regulatory, and consultancy. Frank is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and a member of the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association (VPELA). He is a sessional lecturer at VUT and an occasional lecturer the Department of Planning and Community Development.
Malcolm Jack - Principal Town Planner

Malcolm Jack is F R Perry & Associates’ Principal Planner. He has more than 30 years experience gained from a variety of regional management and senior policy officer roles. His experience straddles the public and private sectors and incorporates commercial, residential, retail, industrial and infrastructure projects. Malcolm is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), a Certified Practising Planner, and a former chairman of the Australian Institute of Urban Studies (Victorian Division). He has lectured part-time in planning at RMIT and tutored in the History of Planning at the University of Melbourne.
Sara Kaur - Senior Town Planner

Sara Kaur has almost a decade of experience in urban and regional town planning. While much of her experience has been gained in India, she brings a wealth of experience in the areas of policy, waste and water management, planning assessments and advice.
Sara possesses both commercial and government experience and fulfils a business development role for F R Perry & Associates. She is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
Alistair Perry - Director, Perry Finance

Alistair Perry initially joined F R Perry & Associates in 1999 as Manager, Research. In this initial role he undertook a number of major research projects for the Australian retail industry, the Australian tourism industry, the Australian food industry, and the Australian eyewear industry.
In 2005, after gaining accreditation as a mortgage broker , Alistair established Perry Finance, the organisation’s finance and property subsidiary. Alistair’s exemplary research skills and business acumen has ensured the natural transfer and translation from research to the finance and mortgage broking area. The result is exponential growth in Perry Finance over the three years since its inception.
Cameron Perry - Director, Perry Finance

In conjunction with Alistair Perry, Cameron Perry is a Director of Perry Financial Services. An experienced researcher who has worked in a commercial consultancy, Cameron is expert at arranging and structuring debt funding for residential and commercial acquisitions and construction projects. Over the past three years within the finance arm of the organisation, Cameron has consistently and regularly delivered finance to our valued clients at interest rates lower than elsewhere on the market.
Cameron is an accredited mortgage consultant and an active member of the Mortgage Industry Association of Australia.
Andrew Perry - Town Planner

Since May 2007, Andrew Perry has assisted F R Perry & Associates in the dual role of planning assistant and research assistant.
Under the guidance and mentoring of senior town planning staff, Andrew has gained valuable commercial and residential town planning experience through compilation of a range of planning reports and projects. This experience has led to his enrolment in the Diploma of Environment & Planning at Melbourne’s RMIT University.
In a support capacity for the Perry Research Unit, Andrew has undertaken media monitoring, qualitative analysis, and report compilation.
Dean Savage - Town Planner/Research Analyst

- Graduate Certificate in Multimedia (University of Newcastle)
- Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and International Relations) (Deakin University)
Dean joined F R Perry & Associates in May 2008 as a Research Analyst while studying and has since added town planning duties to his role.
Current research includes media monitoring and production of multifaceted monthly market specifically tailored reports for a high-profile retail client base.
Dean also compiles a monthly newsletter distributed to selected town planning and urban design professionals. The publication offers a monthly historic ‘snapshot’ of Melbourne’s property and planning news, moves and views and is an important value-add for our clientele.
Aileen Chin - Town Planner
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Planning) (RMIT University) IN PROGRESS
Aileen joined F.R. Perry & Associates in January 2010 as she completed her Planning studies at RMIT University.
Aileen will be providing assistance on a variety of planning tasks and brings to the company the advantage of a planner who is fluent in Mandarin.

This month at F.R. Perry & Associates
F.R. Perry & Associates have several major projects moving through the planning process. These include:

A revised 13-storey proposal for Albert Street, Brunswick is currently on exhibition. The development is to include retail and 185 apartments;

A revised application for a 27-storey apartment building on Ascot Vale Road, Flemington is being advertised;

A residential subdivision at Tyabb, subject of Planning Scheme Amendment C117 to the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council planning scheme, will go to a panel hearing on 18 February; and,
-
Planning Scheme Amendment C101 to the City of Greater Dandenong Planning Scheme has been adopted by Council. The amendment will allow for the development of a activity centre at Keysborough South.
FR Perry & Associates also welcomed student planner Aileen Chin to the company in January. Aileen is completing her studies at RMIT University and is fluent in Mandarin.
